"If the club should see an activity that is believed to be illegal, they should bring it to the attention of the proper authorities and let it go at that." ... David Whelen
Mr. Whelen ... obviously you don't understand what powers the club officers have that the club membership has entrusted in them. What is acceptable in one hobby may be taboo in another hobby ... and "legality" has nothing to do with it.
Slabbing for example is perfectly acceptable in the coin hobby/industry ... but the product is not acceptable on the club's convention floor by decree of the club officers as a matter of club policy. The act of smoking is not illegal either ... but is not permitted on the convention floor.
Prostitution IS legal in Nevada ... but not in any other state in this country.
In short, continue doing what you are doing ... I'm confident in knowing that there are those who will expose your concealment chip repair jobs and fabrication of "unique" creations to rip off unsuspecting buyers... and I'm personally thrilled in knowing that you will NEVER be a CC & GTCC member... even if you wanted to be.
