What are you afraid of? I know it's not me!
You say, "It would be real easy to get me to quit. All you have to do is show me that I'm doing something "illegal". As retired military, if ever convicted of a federal felony, I could lose my retirement check."
You aren't doing anything "illegal" yet. At this point it is a matter of "conscience"--which you don't seem to have. This is the reason why the Club is trying to get casino chips/tokens included in the Federal law protecting against reproducted or repaired collectibles being passed on as genuine.
FYI, I am a retired military person who served for over 25 years. I would love to see what you are doing "without" appropriate marking of "repaired" or "reconstructed" a Federal crime.
You also say, "Some of you guys have pushed the elected officials of the "Club" into the very awkward position of trying to be in the Law Enforcement business."
Your imagination is running rampant on that issue. Please get you head out of the sand. It's not "Law Enforcement", it's protecting the integrity of the hobby and keeping honest people from getting ripped off somewhere down the line! You describe our elected officers' handling of this issue as a "Kangaroo Court". Those who are dedicated to the preservation of this great hobby call it "Keeping Out the Undesirables" by whatever means it takes!
