But they wouldn't sell me more.
At other places the dealers wanted me to trade them in because of shortages. Sometimes they even ask for $1's back. Anyone know if Lady Luck sells in quantity, they seem to have tons of those 50c Bud Jones chips?
Since you figured it out, that a 25c chip costs the casino 68c (for example) any reason why you think they wouldn't have noticed?
But I like your way of thinking...
Last I checked the Paulson store in Atlantic City was selling Hot Stamped chips, H&C mold for around 50c each, brand new. Inlay fantasy chips for around 68c a chip.
You can buy old sets from people like Mike Spinetti, or CT Rogers (sorry if I left out another six names) for 50c to $1 a chip and get some dandy out of date chips.
You don't need to pay $2 a chip on eBay. The casinos will frown upon you buying more than a handful of chips.
Hope that helps?
