for long term storage!!!

We have some old dice that were packaged like that by the manufacturers for the casinos (the logo'd boxes are neat! ). The foam has dried out and adhered to the dice...once you get it off, the chemicals in the dice have reacted with the chemicals in the foam, and the dice are permanently "imprinted" with the texture of the foam.

Today's dice might not have the same reaction with today's foam....but I wouldn't risk it.
