eBay is still the biggest 'chip show' in the world, Jim. And it runs every day and is open to anyone with a computer, anywhere in the world. It's not going away... not everyone will agree, but it's the biggest stimulus to chip collecting since the Club was formed.

Regarding the dilution of the 'real collector' chips with modern stuff, it's not hard to filter out. The formula has been posted several times on this bb. It just takes a few minutes to learn how to search with the eBay engine.

I suggest that those with a gripe with eBay think a bit about the alternatives that this company has. With millions of auctions going every week, they cannot spend time monitoring them, or even holding discussions with customers about them. Think of the legal implications of they intervene to remove one supposed inaccurate listing and don't commit to do the same for EVERY auction. Some lawyer would bring a billion dollar class action suit the next time a disgruntled user had a problem with an inaccurate discription. eBay has a unique formula that is changing the world... not just for collectors, but in many other ways. List... or bid... or buy eBay stock... there are many ways to participate!
