Boring intro and question...

Very early in my chip collecting somebody turned me on to cleaning my dirty chips with Armor All Multi Purpose cleaner. I usually only clean a relatively new chip and have never had any issues with one exception... a Bellagio $1.00 house... the blue ink ran... no big deal, easily replaced.

Now, I have an H C Edwards chip from the 60's I really want to clean... they look plastic and I am very tempted.

What are they made of and has anyone ever cleaned one? I know to be gentle with the hot stamp but otherwise have never cleaned one.

Thanks for any insight.
