Following is a copy of an email that I sent out to the participants of my Round Robin #3.

Round Robin #3 Participants,

In a previously email I noted that a participant had abused the round robin and put 6 worn and damaged chips into the round robin despite instructions that this was not permitted.
That individual was Vic Galante.
I tried to reason with Mr. Galante, but he refused to make good.
His best offer was to reimburse me for the face value of the chips, $6, which I did not accept.
I then sought the help of the CC>CC claims director to resolve the matter.
Mr. Galante was contacted by the claims director and again he refused to make good.
The CC>CC was not able to take this matter any further as Mr. Galante is not a member.
I then learned that Mr. Galante is a member of the Deep South chapter, DSCCC.
The membership# that Mr. Galante uses on his Chipboard posts is a DSCCC membership# and is not a CC>CC membership#.
I made a complaint to the DSCCC.
The DSCCC made an investigation and as a result asked Mr. Galante to make good.
Mr. Galante again refused and will be denied further membership in the DSCCC.

It was no pleasure to me to make these claims.
It is no pleasure to me to see someone removed from a chapter.
I would much rather have seen Mr. Galante make good and the matter resolved satisfactorally.
It is very difficult for me to understand how someone thinks that they can take advantage of others like this.
And you, the participants of the round robin, had to suffer through this as well.
For my part in that, I apologize.

I thought that you all would like to know what happened.
