Hi Jim,
I have been using the mylar-cardboard flips in my plastic album pages for over 20 years with over 50,000 chips in my 80 binders. The only damage that I have had to a BJONES inlay is the Desert Inn 1992 issue, which I believe was from defective inlays, not the flip. The only other problem that I have had is red dye bleeding onto the plastic page from 2 red chips. The chips were not damaged, however. If you use plastic pages in binders, be careful not to slam the pages as you turn them. I have cracked a few good chips. I believe that airtights in storage boxes are probably the safest way to store your chips. I just do not have the time to make this change presently.
