Visited a couple antique shops in Temecula, CA today, and noticed one stall with a little bit of casino stuff. Only things of note was a poker chip set (pardon my description - novice here) that appears to be some type of pressed chip with a golfer - about 60-70 of them for $195.
But the reason for this post, is there was a small bowl with about a dozen dice from various casinos. The only two I remember were on the top of the pile (Thunderbird and The Mint). The Mint die was somewhat degraded (celluloid chipping?), but the TBird was in very nice shape. All the dice were only $5.00/ea, and from the looks of auctions on eBay, are very reasonably priced.
No, not headed that way in the near future (2-3 hour drive each way), but if you need info about which shop/booth, drop me a line and I can provide some more 'almost-accurate' details!
