Rick, I didn't mean to get personal but you stated you were taking a chance on selling this chip with a starting bid of $50.00. If that is the high value placed on the chip via TCR, I still don't understand just what chance your taking. If you don't get a bid, then it's still yours and you didn't lose anything (assuming you paid $50.00 for it in the first place.)

If you paid less (which I assume you did,) and you get a bid of $50.00, you made a profit--and probably a good one at that.

I know if I really needed the money for whatever reason, I would offer it with a starting bid of $1.00 and be happy with whatever I got. That's what I call "taking a chance."

I've sold many chips for less than what I paid for them--not because I needed the money--but because I just had too much in inventory and wanted to unload them.

I'm sorry to hear about your temporary rough times but keep in mind when things get better, you can always purchase another one and I doubt if you will have to pay $50.00 for it. So you see, you'll eventually make out. Good luck.
