Please realize that this is the opinion of myself and several other serious Casino Ashtray collectors.

The auction linked is for a Frank Sinatra Cal-Neva Lodge ashtray. It is our opinion that the tray is a phony. A number have been sold and after the seller was grilled about their authenticity, he started selling them at private auction. I have had the opportunity to examine one closely, and they just don't "quack like a duck, and I am 99.99% sure they aren't a duck."

This is something that has rarely happened in the ashtray field. The few phonies around are easy to spot, but this one took a little closer examination to see all the problems with it.

Oh, the Dean Martin one is surely the real deal!!

As always, just one man's opinion, and a few others, but I'll stand by the decision on this one.
