These were one of my Christmas presents from my wife this year. It seems she ran across a lady that used to have a fried that worked at the Glenn, who gave her there two ashtrays back in the late 60's. My wife wont tell me how much she gave the lady for these, but I don't think they were cheap, but in my opinion, well worth whatever she paid. Both ashtrays a alike, except one is a little lighter than the other. They are both made in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Rookwood Pottery, which from what I have heard makes them worth pretty much just because there Rookwood. They both have 7143 on the back, I don't know if that is a date or what it is. I will have to talk to someone that knows pottery and see if that number means anything. In any case these are two really nice ashtrays, only know of one other to exist.
