Weird! That address jumped out at me as I had run across it just this afternoon. According to Kling, started out as the Reef Hotel '74, became Golden Hotel & Resort '80, then Cheers, then Ramada Inn, and states that it is now Howard Johnson's Great American Hotel-Casino (slots only). Things are probably different since the book came out in '00 as I was unable to find directory listings for HoJo, Great Am. and Cheers is a watering hole somewhere in the local wilds of Reno. No sort of hotel/motel corresponding to that address...best guess, out of business and closed? Perhaps (unlikely) timeshare/condo/crackhouse deal?
