Back in 1990 when the divorce was inevitable we struggled thru one last Christmas together. I told her I was going to be nice and get her a new washer and dryer so she wouldn't have to take our older ones.

She was not the least bit amused to find I had got her a douche bag and a towel!!!

We get along great these days and can laugh about it, pretty tense moment then.
