An easy place to look up all the odd characters if you use Windows XP is to click the START button at the bottom left of your screen. Then mouse to All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and Character Map. This will give you the sequence of characters you can input to get any of the odd characters, or easier yet, just Select, and Copy the character you want.
