Sorry Sonny but if you had a million dollars, face value, hanging on the wall and could sell it to collectors for alot more, would you just have it sitting there.
I was upset when they took out the $2.99 steak dinner! It came with a salad and a huge baked potatoe, not a joke steal either. But that's business.
Just walk through Binion's and it like the old days.
I won't defend stiffing employees, shorting the FSE, owing back taxes or any of those issues. It's just a little bit of old Vegas, walking through the place.
The sports book and the lunch counter are worth a visit, just to see them.

In case it doesn't jump out, I'm defending the casino and it's history, not the owners. As for the Million bucks, business is business, if they were short and needed to keep the place running, which would you do first? Sell the display or close the casino?
