Ok - I see that out of the tons of boards, three now (all chip related) show an IP.

I am still waiting to hear the actual REASON that everyone's IP address is available.

What is showing an IP stopping that a username and password wouldn't.

Since there is no security risk in a password scheme and there is in an IP listing the choice would seem clear.

I am waiting to hear from Greg as to why it is - maybe he has some input that I haven't thought of and no one has mentioned.
