The LaConcha was where we stayed on my very first trip to Vegas, in 1981. Probably got my very first Vegas ashtray there, too! I can remember sitting by the pool early in the morning (early for me, anyway!). They handed out El Morocco fun books for the guests, and I remember going over there to get popcorn to munch on. The El Morocco casino was open then, wish I'd saved a few chips!

Bummer that La Concha is gone, and the El Morocco will soon follow.
