I agree with you. Once the seller receives the payment feedback should be left, but many feel that the deal isn't complete until the buyer posts that the merchandise is received. Both sides do have good arguments. I leave feedback if I'm satisfied. One eBay experience I had puts a different spin. It was one where the seller wouldn't take PayPal and I sent a check. I emailed the seller that I'd appreciate an email when my check was received so that I'd have an idea when my chip would arrive. The seller emailed me that he didn't have the time to send emails and wrote "Watch for my feedback. That will tell you when your chip is mailed." I've never bought anything from him since. Just my 1-1/2 cents...
