I have a little different suggestion. There is a freeware application called CutePDF (downloadable at http://www.acrosoftware.com/Products/CutePDF/Printer.asp). Its one of the best freeware programs Ive used.

This installs as a new printer on your system. When you print your report to the printer it will open a dialog box and ask you for a filename. Then it prints the report to a PDF file that can be read by Adobe reader (most people already have this installed).

Then everyone can open the report and the report can be zipped to be pretty small. I dont think it will be too much extra work but I'd be happy to do this for you.
