Something that might be suggested to the Riviera is to have a casino employee near registration to sign up Players' Club members and issue cards. This benefits members by not haveing to stand in line at the PC to get a card (whether to play or for their collection) and by keeping track of the number block, the hotel can see how many of our attendees actually use their cards to wager in the casino. Might be useful info to have for next year's negotiations... or maybe not, as our members are not known for being Big Players [g].
Palms Hotel did this at the show held there a few weeks ago. They wouldn't issue replacements if you were already a member though. You had to go to the club booth for those (or ask a pit critter to do it for you).
