I have to agree with Archie and the others who are opting to stay at the host hotel.

Last year, if one stayed 4 nights at the Tropicana (including Friday and Saturday evening,) the cost was $296. ($49.00 a night for Wednesday and Thursday night and $99 a night for Friday and Saturday.)

This year, the cost is only going to be $70.00 a night for all 4 nights for a total cost of $280.00. A bargain as far as I'm concerned.

Convenience to me is most important. Sure, one could find cheaper arrangements at other places but I can't believe that to most people going to Las Vegas, a few extra dollars is going to matter much. The money is going to be spent anyway so why not support the club and lose a little less on those slot machines.

I'll bet you that if you stopped paying all those excessive shipping charges during the year you would more that make up for the additional cost of staying at the host hotel.
