Okay Paul, I can't let that comment slide by on a public forum. I can speak for myself and at least a couple of other authors who I know to say that your comment was pretty irresponsible.

Book prices are static, fixed in time. The chip market is not. The fact that you knew that Benon had boxes of a chip at a show and that the author of the respective guide book didn't is proof that most authors are self-serving is bull. In the three editions of my book on Playboy chips the majority of prices have gone down. I write books because I enjoy researching the unknown histories of chips and casinos. Prices are one of the most difficult parts of the book to compile. I would be interested in hearing how you would approach establishing the "true" value for a chip.
