I always stay at the Westward Ho, across from the Riviera. The standard rate is about $29 a night and all the rooms have recently been renovated and are as nice as any rooms in the hotels around there. The best part of staying there is that being it is a 2 story motel type of arrangement, you can park your car in front of your room instead of shlepping through a big auto garage with your luggage, etc. The casino is a great fun place with a lot of freebies, great cheap food, no kids or lines, etc. Since I found this place many years ago, I will stay no place else! Next door is Slots A Fund casino, another great fun place with good cheap food. Sorry to say this, but I think that the Riviera is stiffing us with their inflated room rate. Some of us, the CHEAP members as one has said, have limited funds available, unlike others who evidently have unlimited funds for expenses and purchases.
