I would suggest a 500 chip set (200 white, 100 red, 100 green or blue and 100 black. I bought a 300 chip set and found that I needed to add to it right away. I have had great service from '5 Star Deal (www.5stardeal.com). I hope he appreciates a friend who would buy such a great gift.
