A few years ago, the Colorado Price guide had the $1.00 gold Mine chips listed for somewhere around $25.00 each (currently priced at $10.00.)

At that time, I was able to buy as many as I wanted of both versions for $1.00 each from Joe Benon but he would only sell them if we bought a minimum of 20. (he had boxes upon boxes of these chips at one of the trade shows.

I mention this only to emphasize that the price mentioned in many books do not reflect the "true" value of many chips but what the authors hope to sell theirs for.
