I guess I need to post as a casino employee, this time. I want to change your words into our prospective.

The primary purpose our casino produces LE chips is FOR collectors, marketing, and for promotion of in house events.

We are very aware of the chip collector market. We have tried hard to make chips the collectors will want to collect. We strive to not create an artificial rarity in the collector market. We strive to make them available to any and all collectors that want them. We are grateful to the collectors and the NIS services. We give back to the hobby whenever possible. Soon there will be another announcement on the club BB from the Southern NV Chapter of a large donation to the Building Fund from the recent chip show.

That said:
We have managed to reach a large secondary crossover market with our advertising of new issues of LE chips. We spend $1,000's of $ to reach this market. The Palms brand is reaching millions of customers throughout the world. These customers are coming to The Palms. I believe the chip dealers at the recent chip show will attest to this last statement, new faces was the talk of the show. On many of our new issues emails, phone calls, and letters come in at 2 or 3 to 1 from the crossover market compared to the collector market.

An example is the Kiss and Playboy 03 $5 chips. 25,000 Kiss-15,250 PB. As of yesterday not one of these $5's are in the cage and there is a waiting list for any that come in.

From time to time we hear from speculators such as MR Polansky. I am sorry but you will not see "speculator" listed in our target market for LE chips. And, I feel sure, we cheerfully refunded your money on your speculation.
