MY biggest hit ever came over 4 days when I just a spritely 21. Back then I considered a $10 bet a huge amount. Anyhow, I had lost $400 at the tables in Saskatoon, and was on my way out the door devastated with only $50 left ( I was only making $8 an hour back then!) and a friend who worked there called me over to see what was wrong. He told me to hit his table, it was ice cold, but it was a $25- $100 table. Well to say the least I plunked down $25 and 3 hours later was walking out with a cool $3225 in my pocket. The next night I won $1200 and the 3rd night I won $1250 making it a 3 day total of $5750. I was off for 4 days and was walking through the mall on the next morning when I saw an ad in the travel agency for flights to Vegas for $99. I had spent the bulk of the money paying off my credit cards and bills, but still had $500 left for myself. So, 4 hours later, I was on the plane to Vegas. I hit the Slots of Fun $5 pitch table, and 6 hours later found myself playing 2 squares of $500 each with $7600 in front of me. Then it hit how much money I had, and I cashed out and spent a drunken 3 days partying in Vegas before coming back home to trade my car up to a new one. 4 day winning streak, $13350, or $14490 CDN after exchange. Never been able to get anywhere near that since.
