I've noticed on the board that some members who receive their magazine by bulk mail are getting them torn, bent or mutilated. We did away with the envelopes to save a significant amount of money. These savings allowed us to do other things like adding color. The magazines should not have had any problems in the mail, I receive a Cabelas catalog of 400+ pages and twice as thick as the magazine and it always arrives in one piece.
If a lot of magazines are getting torn then we need to look into it. My instincts tells me it's the post office or the letter carriers and not a problem at our mailing house.
If your magazine has been seriously destroyed, send me an e-mail and i'll take care of it. I'd also be interested if some areas of the country are more affected than others.
