COMMON SENSE SHOULD PREVAIL!

1. Tell the "ninny" who sent you a check with a "very, very old address" on it to go over to the "very, very old address" and try to find his/her chips! AND...

2. Never send chips/goods with a value over $25-$30 without insurance..WHETHER YOUR CUSTOMER ASKS FOR IT OR NOT! It's not that much and you should protect yourself by adding the nominal cost of insurance to the deal. If it's an E-bay deal include the fact that "NO" insurance is not an option.

My Atlantic City New Issue Service sends any chips over $25-$30 insured...AND DOESN'T ASK ME IF I WANT THE INSURANCE. HE ADDS IT TO MY BILL. I gladly pay the few extra pennies for the insurance so that he and I don't get into a pissing contest over who's responsibility it is to complete the deal.

This issue seems to be ad infinitum. We have had so many of these lost-shipment/who's responsible stories reported on the board in recent times. Every possible scenario has been discussed many times over. It's not rocket science! EVERYBODY SHOULD PROTECT THEIR SHIPMENTS BY TELLING BUYERS THAT YOU ARE INSURING THE SHIPMENT AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE. THAT WAY WE CAN AVOID THESE LENGTHY THREADS THAT GET REHASHED WITH MORE FREQUENCY THAN THE ISSUE DESERVES!
