Everyone has probably heard enough of this conversation but I couldn't resist. I did see Dr. Hook 6 different times, in different locations. Always an experience.

Their live performances sounded different every time. I guess due to the level of "awareness" they had attained before the show.

The second time I saw them was at the South Dakota State Fair. It was raining like a cow p*ssing on a flat rock. A bunch of us were bellied up to the stage which was only a couple feet off the ground. I set my bottle of tequila up on the stage so I could try and light my pipe. The band grabbed it and started guzzling my precious "truth serum." Well, we won't be having that...Have a snort, but lets not drink the whole half gallon. I jumped up on the edge of the stage trying to wrestle by jug from the guy drinking it. We both ended up falling off the stage into the mud wrestling over the Tequila.

These days I can't even stand the smell of Jose unless it is deeply imbedded in a nice Marguerita.
