Yup... grew up in Roslyn. Very cool town, I must say. Hundreds of people converged each weekend at the famous duck pond to get stoned and visit the head shops and record stores. (I never did any of that stuff, of course.) Went to Roslyn HS and at the end of my street was the highest point on LI. The statues from the old Mackey estate still stood in people's back yards.
