The yellow labels indicate the six security codes. They are only visible under ultra-violet light. Pete's message above shows a picture of the codes. They were only to be found in a proportion of the 1993 issue of chips, many of which were replaced by 10,000 or so of the same chips without codes last year. Whilst I was luck this time in getting two racks to look through, I would add that none of the chips I have either obtained from tables or the cashiers drawer had the symbols. On 5 previous visits I returned with nothing. I stand corrected but would suggest that at the present time maybe one in twenty chips has a code on it. In order to find these 16, I have been through over 400 chips. On that basis they are far more scarce.
The main problems are - 1) Use of the UV light is illegal in the casino, and 2) They will often only let you have 5 chips at a time.
Most of the chips in the picture have been sold since I posted the message a few hours ago. I have some spares left at $5 each plus airmail shipping from the UK. First come, first served by email please.
