Well, let's not dwell on that! When I was reading Kling's oral history book on Harrah's I was struck by what a remarkable generation of people these were in those times. Depression kids who made the world safe for freedom and just kept right on building, fixing and problem solving...about time they got to drop a nickel for some fun!

Huh, what? Are these postcards numbered? Were you aware that they had some sort of souvenier thing going with matchbooks also? Sorry, don't recall the exact facts from a post or two about a year ago... seemed as if they were club matches with winner's initials on the cover or something.
