That's what you think along with many others. The Government wants to ignore coin in on the summary statement and treat coin out plus jackpots paid plus W2-G's issued as gross gaming win to be reported as "Other Income" above the Adjusted Gross Income line on the form 1040. As you know or should know the Government claims you ARE NOT allowed to "net" before you report. This wipes out much of the standard deduction, some credits and creates other problems I will not mention. What I have described is only the tip of the iceberg. If I can't do something about this problem I personally would never use a slot card again!
This is the last I want to say about this situation until I have completed my written rebuttal arguement.
