I've only bought about ... uh... 2 or 3 items on Ebay. Although I do like to go out there an look at stuff alot. And as much as I like the chipping hobby, I haven't had the time or money to get into it as much as I would like.
That said, I find it really odd how serious some people take their Ebay rating.
Is it a competition thing? A pride thing?
I mean if you have 200 positive responses and 1 negative response, do you really think a buyer/seller will refuse to do business with you for that one response?
To me it is just a tool as a consumer.
I'm not asking to seem critical. I actually find it all quite fascinating.
Anyway, by many of the posts I read I can tell that this is very important to people. So I'd be curious to get some views from the people really involved in the process.
