Well I was married to a Salupo. I had met her father Sam Salupo (Salvatore Sebastian Salupo). I was told by my wife and her mother stories about Sam and his family in the Cleveland Mafia. From what I understand Sam's father was fresh of the boat from Sicily and was connected. I talked to Sam and he confirmed some of the stories to a point.

I was just wondering, considering the possibility of a connection, that maybe her family might be able to share possible connection to gaming in Kentucky or Ohio. Maybe even have some old stuff to share.

I later divorced her and remarried another woman from Cleveland, who's father is a retired detective. I asked him about the family and all he was able to give me was that he was aware of the name in connection with the mob.
