Things change as we get more

John, I think all chippers have things change as their collections grow. When we first start out we need just about everything. As we aquire more and more, the numbers of chips we declines equally. Like many others, I'm at the point where even round robins don't often present chips that I can add to my collection. Sure I take a few chips in exchange for a few chips that can diversify my trader list, but rarely am I able to find a chip in a round robin that I can use.

As for trading a current for current chip by mail, it's far more prudent to do more then one at a time. I have always prefered to trade a few at a time over just one.

I can tell you one thing that has really begun to make a difference in trading...and thats the fact that so many more chippers are having their own webpages. There were many of us that had them before, but thanks to the hard work and willingness of Will Knight, many more chippers now have websites. I think the numbers are growing and growing. Having your own website is an enourmous advantage in trading. I know it sure has been for me.
