I have several letters from Harvey, some hand written and some type written. Each and every letter has some kind of detailed information about the owner and/or open or closing of a casino somewhere in Nevada. I traded chips with Harvey since 1981 and each chip he sent me had all the information with it. Usually in an old cigarette wrapper and info (dates-etc.)written on a keno ticket! I gave a copy of these letters to Doug Saito, he said he was publishing some of Harveys journals. Harvey kept a journal every day since he was in WWII war(about 1941). It is interesting to see some of his writings because he would note the cost of a pack of cigarettes and gas. On May 28th 1985 he wrote me a letter saying it was his and Eleanor's (his wife) 23rd trip to Las Vegas since 1968 and that he was staying at the Jackpot Motel 1600 Casino Ctr.
Yes he always kept notes on everything.
