Just get a glass cleaner that says Label and Tape remover on it. Not complicated. I use a Silo/CRC product but it may be as simple as Windex. Read the label...
Soak and let sit.
I don't know why a polarized oil (WD-40 or others) would be considered a label remover?
If Goo-Gone disolves Super Glue I'd be very careful, because Crazy Glue and the others are Alpha Cyanoacrylate, which is not effected by gasoline, alcohol, benzene or light oil. (acrylate as in acrylic plastic)
However strong Alkalines will reduce the bond strength.
I hadn't thought of it in the past but if someone has "Super Glue" on a chip, you might be able to use something like Draino to remove it. Since I've never tested a chip and don't know what it will do, someone might try soaking an old junk chip first. Who knows what's in the top secret compositing of the so called clay chips.
