Continuing the series on chips that look "almost" the same, the pic below shows two Hacienda NCV's that appear at first glance be the same. There are really several differences: the type style of the 5 is different, there's a dollar sign on one chip, one variety is the same on both sides but the other has a reverse without the Hacienda name and with the town added. If you look closely, you can also see that the one with the dollar sign has the long-cane version of the H&C mold design.

I overlooked one of these varieties for several years thinking I recognized it as one I already had. Both types are found in UNCIRC condition so there are probably box quantities available somewhere.

If you collect Hacienda, or No Cash Value chip in general you might want to check to see if you have both. Sorry but no traders of either.
