This wasn't a sale, it was a trade. I expect whatever I'm receiving to arrive and if it doesn't, for them to replace it. I treat them the same.

Even if it had been a sale, unless I specifically told the person ahead of time that I wasn't able to guarantee delivery, I would replace whatever was purchased. It is the only way to do things.
