The pennies themself don't seem to make much difference as long as the original one is in there.
When the press forces the AL around the cent it's so forceful that most of the ECs I have are actually bent/warped. So if it was a collectible cent, it would be ruined and at best, worth more, removed.
There must be less than 10 people who activly collect Casino Encased Cents which means, no market...
If I get the BB up and running again, I hope to get together with Mr. Mom / Dave and make a list of knowns and possible scaricity scale.
That's where getting together and sharing information can make it better for al of us.
If there is any sort of guide, it's going to be online, so it can be updated as new information is obtained and as far as I can see, free.
There might be variations, that's why I'm putting up scans.
Take one look at eBay and you'll see the common Casino Encased Coins, for sale every week.
Las Vegas Club (49c breakfast) (79c version less)
Joe W. Brown's Horseshoe
Horseshoe Hotel & Casino
Bright Spot Reno
Gold Club (although Dave says there are color variations)
Silver City Casino
There are more for the above list, but before I venture an opinion, I need more information.
If you have a one of a kind Casino Encased, it's probably still valued at under $10. That should make it a love of collecting interest.
Yes there are encased coins that are higher value, but as far as I can tell, the interest in Casino Encased is under 10 people.
