My wife and I met the woman yesterday, who is 11 wks. pregnant, and wishes for us to adopt her newborn come May 12th. This will be our first child and we a both anxious, nervous, and excited. I now have to find a lawyer in my area to draw up the nessessary paperwork and then schedule a homestudy. Anyone reading this who has been through this process is welcome to lend any advice. I'll be 45 when this child is born and it seems like my life will have started over. I hope I'll have another 45 to spend with this precious gift.
