I'm not so sure I would put too much stock into what that blackjack dealer said. They have obviously been advertising for a while that they would have new chips on November 1st. Just a couple days ago someone posted on the board about a notice they got from the Casino.

If they were planning new chips, even as long as a few weeks ago, the artwork would be done, the chips would be made and the money already spent, so it makes no sense that a "budget cut" would have anything to do with it.
