As with anything the rare ones will always fetch higher prices than more common ones.
I have seen whole sets $1, $5, $25, $100 go for dirt cheap prices.
About what you are saying $1 per chip regardless of denomination.
Obviously those chips are extremely common.
Without even trying to research I can make the assumption the chips Rich mentions are quite rare and valuable.
I only wish I have the kind of bucks that Rich has to get some of the really nice chips.
For now I will just plug along and get my common and current chips.
They are cheap and I can enjoy them even if they are not worth much.
