Ok,
Going to try again. I really do need the scans of all the $1 Imperial Palace Chips. As well as a scan of the $.50 chip. I would like the proper TCR numbers too. But, the scans are more important.
The reason is that I want to start a site dedicated to the Imperial Palace. I know she is pretty much a dump as far as many people are concerned. I hold a special place for it because it was the first hotel I stayed at when I went to Vegas. Ok, not going to wax sentimental here.
Below is the exhange between me and Don. Thanks for the input BTW Don.
Use if for any clarification you may need about my request.
My comments are in bold.
Very confused here
The chip guide here shows a pic of a light blue chip that is suppose to be N4764. Light Blue with a Dark Blue Inlay.
The chip rack says that N4764 is blue with a gold inlay and that N1790 is the chip that is Light Blue with the Dark Blue inlay.
On top of this I just saw an auction for a $1 with Las Vegas, NV on it with a square logo that is Blue. Is this a new chip? I thought the house chip was a dark gray.
Needless to say I am totally lost here.
So I need these scans
The Light Blue with Dark Blue inlay, Rectangular Logo, and what is the correct TCR number.
The Blue with Gold inlay, Rectangular Logo, and it's correct TCR number.
A scan of the Light Gray chip with Rectangular logo, and it's correct TCR number
A scan of the Dark Gray chip with Square Logo. I believe it to be the only one with Las Vegas, NV on it. And, it's TCR number.
And finally what I assume is the new chip. Blue, Square Logo, Las Vegas, NV. I have never seen this chip before except for the auction I mentioned earlier.
Oh, and a scan of the $.50 1980 yellow chip. I have never seen on before and am curious what it looks like.
Just a note. I would only be on the market for the dark gray and blue Las Vegas, NV chips. The others are priced beyond my finances at the moment. Still trying to collect currents for the moment. I which I am missing tons. I should be busy with that for a long while.

The Chip Rack shows only four $1 chips from Imperial Palace, Rick. Shown are a light blue, light grey, and a dark grey. None of them have center inlays. Maybe you are confusing inlay with the hot-stamped marking in the center of the chips?
The link below is to Paul Hegge's web site where he pictures 3 of the chips. Maybe it will help.
Oops.
You are right. I meant to say hot stamp. Not inlay. My mistake.
Paul Hegge's site is where I started getting confused.
Quoting my earlier post with correction for inlay mistake.
"The chip guide(Paul Hegge's site) here shows a pic of a light blue chip that is suppose to be N4764. Light Blue with a Dark Blue Hot stamp.
The chip rack says that N4764 is blue with a gold hot stamp and that N1790 is the chip that is Light Blue with the Dark Blue hot stamp."
Thank you for correcting me on the inlay mistake. Still showing how much of a newbie I am still.

Now that I look at pictures and catalogs, I think you are right.... Paul has a wrong TCR number for the light blue/blue HS. It should be N1790.
I have thought for quite a while that TCR has their value codes mixed up on N1790 and N4764. You see many more of the light blue chips than you do of the first-issue blue with gold hot stamp which JamesC has as a $60 chip. You may want to review this, Allan.
Does seem kinda odd that the 1980 issue blue with gold hot stamp would be less valuable than the 1983 Lt Blue blue hit stop chip.
I have seen several LT Blue ones for auctions recently. I have never seen the Blue with gold hot stamp before.

Thanks for the help in advance.
