Sure! I never took any of it personally. (except that calm down Pete post?) It has been an interesting, rational debate, without name calling and insults. Cool. (except the twit who emailed you)
I am the one who pointed out that it harms the seller and benefits the buyer, even though I'm primarily a buyer. I believe that's the biggest negative.
I still don't know how someone outbid me by one measly cent, four days after my high bid was placed. (no it wasn't a continuous bid, I was high bidder for four days)
I still don't know how to creep up on the high bid without becoming high bidder.
I still stutter bid when I think my previous high bid, might just get beat.
I learned not to bid outrageouly high, because I might get stung bad by someone else doing the same thing.
I still don't know what happens if two or three people are all using snipe software. How many bids can software respond to in five seconds? The highest bidder, doesn't always win. (small exception to the rule)
I decided long ago that if I get outbid, then I can wait because another one will come along. It's like when they handed out brains, when I was born. I thought they said Trains and answered... I'll catch one later.
