Of course there is one further problem, and that is that people are trying to compare online auctiosn with live auctions and the fact is that they are different! If people really don;t like Ebay auctions, they can always take chips and anything else to their local auction house! The fact is that Ebay has one huge advantage, especially for us chip collectors who deal in relatively small items (and thus small shipping costs - hopefully!) and that is the huge global market that it opens up, which is certainly better for sellers. Yes, there is a timer and some people don't like it, but it still beats a live auction for chips where, unless you are in Vegas or maybe AC, you would get very little bidding competition and all auctions would go for a lot less, much worse indeed for sellers!
