What's not fair??? You keep saying that, but as several people have said "THE HIGH BIDDER WINS".

My husband and I snipe, we don't use a program, we don't have a cable modem, heck we don't even have dial-up...we have a webtv and use a watch!! It doesn't seem unfair to me. Sometimes we have 2 seconds left, sometimes 20, sometimes the bid doesn't register before the auction ends. Sometimes we have the high bid, sometimes we don't. There's no way we could buy EVERYTHING we want, anyway....so losing an auction leaves the money in the checking account for the next thing we want. (If Mark & Skip "let" us win it!! )

This Sahara ashtray is one that we won with a snipe bid.....NOT because our bid was the latest, but because it was the HIGHEST.
